Subscriptions, connections & refunds

Start by identifying where the issue occurs, then follow the relevant checks. Find account details in the user panel. For connection problems, distinguish between your local network, client settings, and the target service to avoid changing settings without finding the cause.

Accounts & subscriptions

From account creation and subscription setup to switching devices, learn where to get your configuration and how to use it.

Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details secure and avoid reusing passwords from other sites. After creating your account, check your plan, subscription, and client download options in the user panel. Never post your password or full subscription link publicly; the link contains credentials used to retrieve your configuration. If you can’t log in, check your username spelling, input method, and password capitalization, then make sure you’re on the user panel login page.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in my client?
Sign in to the user panel and find your subscription under the account overview. Import it using the method supported by your client. To refresh an existing configuration, open the client’s subscription or configuration list, find the VPNKiss entry, and update the subscription. Then check the route list to see whether it has refreshed. If the update fails, make sure your device can access the user panel, your plan is active, and the link hasn’t been cut off or altered with extra spaces. Don’t show the full link in public screenshots.
Do I need to buy another plan when I change or add a device?
VPNKiss has no device limit, so changing or adding devices doesn’t require a different plan just because your device count changed. Sign in to the same account on the new device, get the client for that platform, and import your subscription. Keep an eye on your plan status and remaining data across all devices; unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. When you stop using an old device, remove any saved subscription configuration, especially on a borrowed device or one you’re handing to someone else.
Where can I get clients for each platform, and can I find my subscription there too?
Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. Download clients from the user panel; sign in to get your subscription. After signing in, you can download clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux. Access to the iOS client requires an active plan. Once installed, import your account subscription and select a route; downloading the client alone doesn’t establish a connection. If your device has an older configuration, check that the active one is for VPNKiss.
I accidentally shared my subscription link. What should I do?
First, remove the link and any screenshots from public posts to prevent further sharing. Then sign in to the user panel and check whether a subscription reset option is available. If you can’t find it or aren’t sure what to do, open a support ticket explaining that your subscription details may have been exposed and ask for help. After the reset, import the new link on every device still using that subscription. When reporting the issue, describe where it happened, the client name, and what went wrong. Don’t post the full subscription link publicly again.

Connections & troubleshooting

First identify what isn’t working. Troubleshooting differs depending on whether the whole device is affected, only one app has an issue, or subscription import fails.

My client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?
A connected status usually means the client has established a connection; it doesn’t guarantee that a particular website is reachable. Disconnect and check that your local network works, then check your plan status, remaining data, and subscription update. Reconnect and try both a familiar website and the one you’re having trouble with to see whether the issue affects all sites or just one service. If all sites fail, check your system proxy settings or the permissions the client needs. If only one service is affected, try another route without changing other settings at the same time.
Why can my browser access the internet, but a particular app can’t use the proxy?
Browsers and other apps may use different network paths. Some apps follow the system proxy, while others require the client’s tunnel mode or per-app settings. Check whether the client is proxying only your browser or whether the target app is on a direct-connection or exclusion list. If the client offers tunnel mode, grant the required permissions as instructed and test again. After changing modes, fully quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t reuse an old connection. Network policies on managed devices can also affect the result; don’t change your organization’s management settings without authorization.
My Android connection drops when the app goes into the background. How can I troubleshoot it?
First check whether the system restricts the client’s background activity, then review battery optimization, background running, and network access permissions. Menu names vary by device; the goal is to let the client keep running when needed, not to disable system protections altogether. Return to the client to confirm its VPN permission is still active and check whether another network tool has taken over the connection. Test the app in the foreground, switch it to the background, and wake the device again. Note exactly when the connection drops to help with any support ticket.
An error appears when I update my subscription. Should I delete all my configurations?
Don’t delete all your configurations right away. Check that the user panel opens, your plan is active, and the subscription URL is complete. If you’re using a link from an old bookmark or chat, get it again from the panel and make sure the import method is compatible with your client. Keep your current configuration and create a separate one to test the new import. Once it works, you can clean up the old entry. If the issue persists, record the exact error and client name, then submit them in a support ticket. Hide the subscription URL and sensitive account details in screenshots.
What information should I include in a support ticket about a connection issue?
Open the support ticket area in the user panel and include your device’s operating system, client name, selected region, network access method, and the step where the issue occurs. Be specific about whether you can’t import the subscription, the connection fails, websites won’t load, or a streaming response gets interrupted. Include the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. You can quote error messages as shown, but hide passwords, sensitive payment details, and the full subscription link in screenshots. Reproducible details make it easier to identify the cause and reduce follow-up questions.

Speed & routes

Choose a region based on the service you want to use, then compare real-world performance. Route names and connection status can’t replace testing in the app.

My connection slows down during peak hours. Should I keep switching routes?
Pause background downloads, cloud syncing, and other tasks that use the network continuously. Then compare your current route with others using the same service. Try nearby regions first, and compare different routes in the same region too; a shorter geographic distance doesn’t guarantee a smoother connection. Change one thing at a time and check whether pages load, videos buffer, or responses stream more smoothly. Switching regions often may trigger extra verification from the service you’re using. When signed in, it’s especially helpful to keep your exit region relatively consistent.
How much route coverage is available, and should I choose by region or by use case?
Coverage includes 100+ countries and 160+ routes. Start with the target service’s regional requirements, then compare actual connection performance. For general browsing, try a nearby region. If you need content from a specific region, select a route there and check it in the service. A successful connection doesn’t mean every website, account, or content library will work; service providers’ regional rules and access checks can change. Save routes that work well for your regular tasks and adjust them when needed, rather than choosing by region name alone.
IEPL, relay, or direct routes: which is best for everyday use?
These terms describe how a connection is routed; the name alone can’t predict your experience. Test IEPL, relay, and direct routes with your local carrier, at the times you use them, and with the services you need. For everyday browsing, compare page load times; for remote work, check whether sessions stay connected; for video, see whether playback remains stable. If a route doesn’t perform well, try another route type in the same region. A route type doesn’t guarantee a fixed speed, a dedicated exit, or access to a particular platform.
I can sign in to AI tools, but responses keep getting interrupted. What can I do?
Signing in and maintaining a long streaming response are separate steps. Check whether your device goes to sleep in the background, your network switches frequently, or the system pauses the client. Keep the same region and a relatively stable connection, then try a shorter conversation to see whether interruptions continue. If only one tool is affected, check that service’s account notices and status. The web app, command line, and IDE plugins may not share proxy settings, so check each one’s network path rather than relying only on browser access.
Why does a streaming service still show a region error when the route connects?
Streaming platforms may use your exit IP address, account region, app cache, and content licensing to determine what’s available. Confirm that the app is actually using the selected route, then check that the route’s region matches the content region you expect. Fully quit and reopen the app; if needed, follow the platform’s instructions for clearing its cache. Avoid repeatedly changing your account region or payment details. If the region error continues, try another route in the same region. The platform determines its catalog and playback access; a successful route connection doesn’t guarantee that content will play.

Billing & refunds

Compare monthly plans with data packs, then check your order status. For billing questions about your account, sign in to the panel and submit a support ticket.

How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does the data reset?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date your plan starts, not at the beginning of each calendar month. Choose based on your actual browsing, work, and streaming needs. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. To check your account status, remaining data, or reset date, sign in to the user panel. You can compare plan prices and data allowances on the plans page.
How are data packs billed, and which should I choose if I don’t use the service often?
Data packs: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. They expire when used up, not by date. If your usage is irregular, consider a data pack; if you use the service often, compare its data allowance with a monthly plan and your usage history. The two options differ in how you use data, so don’t compare them by price alone. Don’t assume how data packs and monthly plans are combined or deducted. Ask through a support ticket if you want to use both on one account.
How is the price difference handled when I upgrade my plan mid-cycle?
The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan in the user panel, then review the plan selection and order confirmation pages. Don’t estimate the amount due from data allowances or assume an upgrade adds a full extra billing period. If the confirmation page doesn’t match your expectations, pause and check with support before proceeding. If an order has already been created, keep its details so you can explain exactly where the issue occurred.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my payment doesn’t show up?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Create an order in the user panel and follow the checkout instructions to complete payment. Then return to your order list to check its status. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the panel hasn’t updated, first confirm that you’re signed in to the account associated with the order, then check the order details. Don’t pay again for the same issue. If it persists, submit the order ID, payment method, and a screenshot of the status in a support ticket. Hide unrelated account details in screenshots; never share your payment password.
What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?
VPNKiss offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open a support ticket, and provide the relevant order details so the team can verify it. You can include details of any connection issues, but there’s no need to write a lengthy troubleshooting report. See the refund policy and terms of service for eligibility. The refund policy doesn’t mean extra trial data or an unlimited period to cancel an order. You can add information and check replies in the same ticket after submitting your request.
